During the interview, Reaves was asked to clarify what he thought his role was on the ice for the Leafs. His response raised eyebrows.
Ryan Reaves, who says he'll be a loud presence in the room, was asked about what he can do on the ice. And asked about preventing incidents like this: "I'd like to see him try it. It would be fun"
Reaves hopes that his presence on the ice and on the bench will deter plays like this from happening.

Leafs are Tougher This Year and Hopefully that Translates to Success
The Leafs have certainly gotten a new look this year, and new GM Brad Treliving has noted that he wants to bring some toughness to the Team because he believes it translates to success in the Playoffs.
With the additions of Max Domi and Reaves, the Leafs have added two players who aren't going to back down from anyone. With more of that on the ice, we will see if they can make some improvements when it matters.
