RUMOUR: Blues in the Market for Top 4 D-Man
Rumours are emerging that the St. Louis Blues are in the market for a top 4 d-man, and could have eyes on this defenseman.
Blues and Flyers potential partners?
According to hockeybuzz.com, rumours are circulating that St. Louis is looking to add a top-four defenceman to their roster before camp. This comes after news of Tory Krug's foot injury.
Krug's injury is not a great one for the BluesRumor is they are now shopping hard for a top[ 4 D, and could reach out to the Flyers again regarding Sanheim
Sanheim just signed an extension with the Flyers last season, with an AAV of $6.25 million. After a disappointing season, rumours had Sanheim on the trading block this offseason. These rumours, however, were quelled when Briere confirmed that he was taking Sanheim off the market.
However, with the right offer from the Blues, the Briere and the Flyers might bite. The Blues could offer someone like
Brandon Saad, giving the Flyers a veteran 20-goal scorer to bolster their offence.
Either way, St. Louis is in a tough situation in losing Krug this close to the season.
