A new report has come in confirming a trade between the Montreal Canadiens and the Ottawa Senators.
Canadiens Acquire Prospect From Senators
The Montreal Canadiens have acquired Jakov Novak from the Ottawa Senators for future considerations.
Novak recently finished his college career at Northeastern. He then played the end of the year in the ECHL. He was slated to play in Laval with Montreal's AHL team.
Now Novak will likely head off to Belleville the Senators AHL team. In 161 NCAA games Novak had 91 points. He will continue to add size and grit to the Senators prospect pool.
