Yesterday Premier Doug Ford announced that event capacity was going to be capped at 50% of total capacity. This restrictions will definitely impact the Maple Leafs and Raptors, but given the low attendance will have minimal impact on the Ottawa Senators.
This season the Ottawa Senators have already seen their season get paused due to a COVID outbreak while the Maple Leafs have remained COVID free at this time.
But with the rising COVID cases in Ontario at least one Ontario Doctor believes the prudent move at this time would be to "pause the NHL season".
Some people Leafs' fans on Twitter have already reported having their tickets cancelled and refunds issued for purchased tickets at this time.
