In one of the final games of the season, Murray was injured yet again against the Detroit Red Wings, when Lucas Raymond accidentally ran into Murray, sending him hard to the ice, giving him a concussion, and that was all the way back on April 2nd.
While he has been skating on his own since, it was reported today that Murray has officially re-joined practice and was out before it began.
Matt Murray is on the ice ahead of #leafs practice. He hasn't skated with the team since suffering a concussion on April 2.— Chris Johnston (@reporterchris) April 26, 2023

He is looking pretty good in the video, and could make his return to the lineup very soon.
While Ilya Samsonov has helped the Maple Leafs to a 3-1 series lead over the Tampa Bay Lightning, his stats have not been all that good. Currently Samsonov has a 3.72 goals against average and a .876 save percentage, which is far below what you would want from a playoff goaltender.
If the Maple Leafs want to make it all the way to the Stanley Cup this year, a healthy Murray could definitely help!
