Washington Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin has been missing from the team for a week after crashing into the boards in a game against the Toronto Maple Leafs just over a week ago.
Ovechkin missed the final 3 games of the season for the Capitals and they went 0-3-0 in those games.
When the reporter asked if Ovechkin would be ready for game 1, his response was ''we'll see'' with a slight smirk.
But obviously Ovechkin will be playing as he stated he could have played in one of the remaining 3 games of the season that he missed.
