Midway through the 3rd period, the Colorado Avalanche were going down on a 2-on-1, and Nathan Mackinnon could not get the pass through to Rantanen, so he goes around the next and while trying to bury a rebound, he falls and gets his feet up in the air and clips defenceman Ryan Graves in the face with his skate.
Thankfully this did not catch Graves in the neck or this could have been MUCH worse, but it did leave him a good gash on his chin which required quite a few stitches.
