The NHL is in mourning after the news of NHL Legend Mike Bossy passing at the age of 65 after battling Lung cancer.
Bossy was a true Legend in this league with the New York Islanders. Bossy helped lead the Islanders to 4 straight Stanley cups in his time.
Bossy was born January 22nd, 1957 in Montreal, Quebec. Bossy was drafted by the New York Islanders in the 1st round, 15th overall by the Islanders in 1977.
Bossy played in 752 games and had 573 goals, and 553 assists for a total of 1126 points. He was also part of the 50/50 club scoring 50 goals in 50 games and 9 50 goal seasons.
