Leaf Fans are well known for their devotion to the team, and willingness to travel to see them play. That almost backfired on two fans who couldn't hold their chirps.

Rangers Fan Loses Cool on Chirping Leafs Fans Nearly Starting Brawl

Toronto Maple Leafs fans aren't ones to hold back their love for the team. After a big win in New York at Madison Square Garden, Leaf Fans were sure to let everyone in the arena know who won the game.
One incident, caught on camera, had two Leafs fans obnoxiously chirping Rangers fans leaving the arena, to which one fan had enough and decided to snap back in a true New Yorker fashion.
I can't stop laughing at this 🤣🤣

Rangers fans (and New Yorkers in general) are pretty well known for their short fuses, and luckily for all involved, cooler heads prevailed in this situation.

Rangers Fans Don't Hold Back as Shown Last Year

The near brawl is eerily reminiscent of the scary scene that happened last season when a Rangers fan knocked out a Lightning fan in the concourse of the arena.
If anything, fans should be careful not to poke the bear that is New Yorkers and their fandom.
Trust me I know! I was involved in it last year when that Ranger fan knocked out that Lightning fan (my best friend is a die hard Ranger fan so I threw the shirt on for him [2nd year as a serious hockey fan anyway])

The way that dude hit the floor was crazy
