Jonathan Marchessault Reveals Why the Leafs Can't Win in the Playoffs
Jonathan Marchessault was amazing in the last playoffs. That's why he won the Conn Smythe trophy, given to the MVP of the post-season tournament.
He spoke out about the Toronto Maple Leafs, and why they need to change if they want to win a Stanley Cup.
The Leafs need to Change
After another unsuccessfull playoff run, the Leafs are looking to make major changes in the organization. They already did it by firing Kyle Dubas and hiring Brad Treliving, but they need more.
Per Marchessault, they need to change a lot more:
"It's hard for me to see it. I just don't know. Like, they get past the first round, and they lose in five to a team (Florida) that I think was - they were hot at the right time, obviously - but I mean, I don't know."

The Leafs problem isn't on the ice, it's everywhere else. They need to change the mentality of the locker room and develop a true team spirit.
Until they do that, they won't win.
