NHL offseasons give players time to come together for a wide variety of fun events. Attending a player's wedding is one of the most popular offseason things to do for an NHL player. Recently the Boston Bruins got together to celebrate Charlie McAvoy as he got married. Although it was McAvoy who tied the knot two of his teammates had stolen the show by the end of the night.

Bergeron And Marchand Share A Dance

Bergeron and Marchand decided to steal the show at Charlie McAvoy's wedding. During the reception, the pair decided to pull off the dance of the night. The two can be seen dancing and at one point Patrice picks up Marchand and spins him around the room. At the time no one knew why the two decided to do this. Many assumed it was just the two having fun but according to one Bruins teammate, it was a call back to another Bruins wedding.

Coyle's Wedding Dance

According to an interview done with Boston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman the dance between the two long-time Bruins was a call back to Charlie Coyle and his wife's first dance.

Supposedly the two star forwards memorized the dance step for step and reproduced it at McAvoy's wedding. This once again shows the care that the two have for their teammates and their commitment to the bit to pull off everything to the exact way that Coyle and his wife had.
It will be interesting to see if the next Bruins wedding features Marchand and Bergeron recreating Charlie McAvoy's wedding dance.
