Insane Angle Of An Alex Ovechkin Hit Goes Viral
In tonight's Flames-Capitals Game, an insane Alex Ovechkin hit was caught from a unique perspective.
Ovechkin Lays Massive Hit on Flames Defenceman
Normally, we get to see NHL games from the traditional wide-angle camera shots that we see on television. While this is great for viewing the game, sometimes the players' speed and intensity can get lost in translation.
Fortunately for us, one fan caught
Alexander Ovechkin's hit in tonight's Capitals-Flames game from their perspective, right on the glass. You can see the difference when you're down at ice level.
The huge hit went uncalled in the game, though it could have easily been considered boarding.
Ovi Has Been Laying the Body So Far This Year
Ovechkin hasn't been afraid to lay the body in his 19th season in the league. The power forward has been throwing massive hits just like he has been doing under the radar throughout his entire career.
Both massive hits he has had so far this year could be considered borderline. Do you think Ovi is riding on the edge of laying some dirty hits?
