Former Blackhawks Forward Under Fire After Disgusting Comments Regarding Kyle Beach
Andrew Shaw's 10-year NHL career saw him play over 500 games and win multiple Stanley Cups with the Chicago Blackhawks.
Shaw was drafted in 2011 so he arrived in Chicago after the Kyle Beach scandal had taken place. Recently, Shaw said this about the situation.
This is flat-out victim blaming and unacceptable behavior from Shaw. What happened to Kyle Beach was not his fault and those who did nothing must face the repercussions.
This type of mindset is what plagues hockey culture resulting in numerous scandals year in and year out. The Blackhawks fan base should be ashamed of Shaw's words.
