David Pastrnak Takes A Major Shot At The Toronto Maple Leafs After The All-Star Game

The NHL All-Star game went down today and while most of the day was carefree fun there was some drama. After the games were over Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak took a shot at rival Toronto Maple Leafs players.
Team Matthews Soars To Victory At The All-Star Game
All-Star weekend in Toronto came to a storybook ending for Maple Leafs fans. Team Matthews filled with all of the Maple Leafs players selected to the All-Star game took home the championship.
The Maple Leafs core group of Auston Matthews, William Nylander, Mitch Marner, and Morgan Reilly were all key pieces to the win. However, even in victory Maple Leafs fans have to hear jokes at the expense of their stars from another team. One specific joke came from a long time rival forward on the Boston Bruins
Pastrnak Takes A Major Shot At The Toronto Maple Leafs
During his postgame media availability, David Pastrnak was asked about Team Matthews. More specifically he was asked what he thought about players from the Maple Leafs winning the tournament together. In his response, he took a huge shot at the Maple Leafs and their stars.
"Good for them," said Pastrnak as per the NHL's Dan Rosen. "They needed some wins. They got one."
David Pastrnak took a big dig at the Maple Leafs for their relatively lackluster first half of the season. The Maple Leafs and Bruins both currently sit in a playoff spot with the Bruins 13 points ahead of the Maple Leafs. Pastrnak's comments will only add more fuel to the fire for the next time these two sides face off.
