Watching Darnell Nurse play in the playoffs, you could tell something just wasn't right with him.

We've seen over the past few seasons, Nurse joining the rush, leading the rush, and just had a very good first step with jumping into the play, which was almost non-existent in the playoffs this year.
After last nights loss, he confirmed that the rumours about him playing through an injury, were in fact true. Through the entire playoffs he was playing with a torn hip flexor that he suffered towards the end of the regular season.
While it is well known that hockey players play through some series injuries in the playoffs for a chance to win the cup, it's actually kind of sick to think what kind of pain these players put themselves through, but it's also inspirational as well.
Nurse and Draisaitl both had serious injuries but made it all the way to the Western Conference Finals, the Edmonton Oilers did very well considering two of their best players were seriously hurt.
