BREAKING: Vladimir Tarasenko has been TRADED to Eastern Conference contender

It was just announced yesterday that Vladimir Tarasenko had waived his No-Trade-Clause for 3 teams.
Those teams were the New York Islanders, New Jersey Devils and New York Rangers.
Tarasenko requested a trade last season, but nothing ever developed. With the St. Louis Blues having some cap issues after signing their future stars Robert Thomas and Jordan Kyrou to long-term extensions, they wont have enough cap space left over to bring back their long-time sniper.
The Blues are currently 8 points out of a playoff spot and it looks like they are prepared to miss the playoffs. Instead of risking losing their former 40 goal scorer for nothing, they have now officially traded him to the New York Rangers.
Rangers acquire: Vladimir Tarasenko (@vt9191), Niko Mikkola (@nikomikk)
Blues acquire: Sammy Blais, Hunter Skinner, 2023 first-round pick, and an unspecified fourth-round pick.
Rangers will also be retaining 40% of Tarasenko cap hit.
