BREAKING: Horrible news for Penguins goaltending situation going into game 2
Coming into the first round of the playoffs, the Pittsburgh Penguins knew they were going to be without starting goalie Tristan Jarry for atleast round 1. Currently he has a (foot fracture) but is out of a walking boot, rehabbing and is possible to return later in Round 1.
But is the opening game of the series, the team also lost backup Casey DeSmith to an injury, forcing the Penguins 3rd goalie to come into action, Louis Domingue.
Domingue actually played very well in relief of DeSmith, stopping all 17 shots he was faced, helping the Penguins comeback and beat the New York Rangers in the 3rd overtime.
All signs point to Louis Domingue starting Game 2 for #pens, likely backed up by Alex D'Orio.
Seems unlikely Casey DeSmith (groin) will be available again vs. #NYR

Domingue has been a bit of a traveller in his career, playing on multiple NHL teams, but this tonight will be the 3rd NHL playoff game he's ever been in, and 1st that he actually started.
