BREAKING: Dustin Brown announces retirement

Dustin Brown was drafted 13th overall by the LA Kings back in 2003. He captained the Kings to two Stanley Cups in 2012 & 2014, won a silver medal at the 2010 Olympics for Team U.S.A, was the recipient Mark Messier Leadership award and NHL player foundation award.
Brown currently has 712 points in 1295 games, all as a member of the LA Kings.
No one expected this retirement, but perhaps this will fuel the Kings to one more stanley cup with Brown being a part of the team!
Dustin Brown, a two-time Stanley Cup champion and the Kings all-time leader in regular-season games played, announced today his retirement from the NHL at the conclusion of the 2022 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Kings will hold a press conference tomorrow at Toyota Sports Performance Center in El Segundo. The press conference, which will feature Brown, Kings president Luc Robitaille, Kings general manager Rob Blake, and Kings head coach Todd McLellan, is set to begin at 11:30 a.m.
