SCARY SCENE: Referee needs immediate help after being cut open by skate

The first period of the game between Team USA and Team Latvia ended early with 3:06 remaining and Team USA up 6-1 after German referee Lukas Kohlmüller had his wrist slashed by Logan Cooley's skate.
Scary moment from the #U18Worlds as referee Lukas Kohlmueller appears to suffer a serious cut on his arm. He was quickly met by medical staff and taken off the ice.
Both teams have left the ice as the maintenance staff cleans up.

I am just stunned. Have never had a feeling like that at a hockey game. It happened right in front of me here and I I've never in my life seen blood come like that. Can't shake it. Just praying he's OK.
