BREAKING: Colorado Avalanche forward doesn't travel with team for game 3
Tonight the Stanley Cup finals heads back to Tampa Bay for game 3, which the Colorado Avalanche hold a 2-0 series lead, after a domination of the Avalanche for game 2. But, we've seen this story before, just because the Lightning are down 2-0, doesn't mean they're out. Things change when they go to Tampa.
We already know that the Lightning may be without star center Brayden Point for tonights game, but the Avalanche could be missing a star forward as well.
Andre Burakovsky left game 2 with a hand injury, and it doesn't sound like he will be in the lineup tonight.

The rumour is Burakovsky did not travel with the team and was not at the morning skate in Tampa, nor was captain Gabriel Landeskog.
Wake 🆙 it's morning skate time in Tampa 🌴
No Andre Burakovsky, Nazem Kadri, or Gabe Landeskog on the ice. The latter is likely maintenance.#goavsgo #StanleyCup #9sports pic.twitter.com/FCEEAY1pO0— Arielle Orsuto (@ArielleOrsuto) June 20, 2022
Burakovsky has 2 goals and 3 points through the first 2 games of the series, so he will be desperately missed in game 3.
Burakovsky — still being evaluated — will join team in TB tomorrow. https://t.co/nrwU8xwFQs— Elliotte Friedman (@FriedgeHNIC) June 19, 2022
