The Pittsburgh Penguins announced today that they have released defenseman Mark Pysyk from his professional tryout. Pysyk has played in the NHL for over 10 years, bouncing around from Buffalo to Florida to Dallas.
Now, it appears that his NHL is likely coming to a close after being released.
In 521 career NHL games, Pysyk has recorded 104 points. It will be interesting to see if he decides to continue playing hockey or if retirement is in his future.
