The Arizona Coyotes are heading into the trade deadline in one of the most unique situations we've seen in years. The team has committed to not just a rebuild, but tearing the entire organization down to the studs and completely building it back up. This essentially means they've removed almost every piece of NHL talent from their roster, and those who remain are likely to be shipped out shortly.

The list of players expected to be dealt include Phil Kessel, Alex Galchenyuk and most notably Jakob Chychrun.
With the deadline approaching we often hear the term "showcasing" being used by teams, but let's be honest, NHL scouting departments usually have all the information they need to make a decision on a player. But the Coyotes' have found a unique way to try and increase the value of Chychrun.
Last night the Coyotes dressed Chychrun, historically a left side defenseman on the right side. This could be a brilliant strategy if it works. For teams such as the Maple Leafs, who have Morgan Rielly, Rasmus Sandin and Jake Muzzin (Currently on LTIR) on the left side, having Chychrun able to play the right side could immediately increase his value.
With already being linked to teams like Los Angeles, Anaheim, Boston and others this could develop an even greater return for the star blueliner.
Chychrun, who is 23-years-old, is in the midst of a down year, only producing 2 goals and 11 assists in 41 points. With a cap hit of $4,600,000 and being under contract for 3 more years, this makes Chychrun the key addition for any team at this year's deadline.
