Voracek Opens Up About Jagr's Influence on His Retirement
Recently, Jakub Voracek opened up about his plans for hockey this year during an interview with TCMS. He discussed how a conversation with Jaromir Jagr helped him make a decision to transition to coaching.
Jake Voracek on coaching Jaromir Jagr, via TCMS:
"I got a phone call about 2 weeks ago from [Jagr], that if I want to help out with the power play. I thought about it, talked with my family about it, and I'm helping them out with the power play.
Voracek joins Jagr's Kladno Team as an assistant coach for the upcoming season, and as he stated, will use his offensive knowledge to help with the powerplay.

Voracek Forced into Retirement Due To Injury
Voracek played in 1058 games over the course of his career, spending the majority of his time with the Flyers, but also with the Blue Jackets during the start and end of his career. He scored 223 career goals and 583 career assists for 806 points.
Voracek unfortunately suffered a number of concussions during the end of his career, eventually leading to his retirement. He is under contract with the Arizona Coyotes until the end of this season.
