Last night Dallas Stars defenseman Chris Tanev suffered an injury while blocking a shot that could keep him out for crucial playoff games against the Edmonton Oilers.

Chris Tanev was acquired at the NHL Trade Deadline by the Dallas Stars to be a key part of their playoff run. His time in their lineup might be coming to an end after blocking a shot with his foot last night.
Chris Tanev has gone to the Stars dressing room after blocking a shot.
Chris Tanev would not end up returning to the lineup for the Dallas Stars during Game 4. His inability to return has caused major fear among fans about his likelihood to return in the series.
