Oilers defenseman Darnell Nurse disrespects reporters in new interview
The Edmonton Oilers defenseman Darnell Nurse sounded horribly off in his new interview ahead of game four against the Dallas Stars.
It's safe to say that Nurse hasn't been meeting expectations in the playoffs so far, especially considering his $9.25 million AAV contract.
As the team prepares to face the Stars in Edmonton for the fourth game of the Western Conference Finals, Nurse gave an interview that raised a few eyebrows.
In the locker room, he took only a few questions from reporters, replied with short answers, and left before answering to all questions.
Stunning game day interview from Nurse. Two and three word answers. Then walked out thanking us before we were done.
Darnell Nurse wasn't feeling very talkative during his media availability that lasted less than a minute. 😬
With only two points in 15 games and a -12 plus/minus, Nurse can't afford being like that in interviews. He must show that he cares and try a bit harder when talking to reporters.
He still has time to redeem himself on the ice and start performing better to get back on the fans' good side.
