There was a scary scene during tonight's game between the Winnipeg Jets and Vegas Golden Knights at Winnipeg's CanadaLife Centre.

It looked as though Fleury was pushed into the boards by Keegan Kolesar of Vegas, who was challenged by Jets captain Adam Lowry in a fight in response as soon as the play eventually resumed.
Fleury has only played in 16 games this year with the Jets and has no points.

Haydn Fleury Has Been Limited To Just 16 Games So Far This Year

Fleury was taken seventh overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft and spent several seasons with the organization before being sent to the Anaheim Ducks in 2021 in exchange for Jani Hakanpaa and a sixth-round pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
He was later left unprotected in the 2021 NHL Expansion Draft and selected by the Seattle Kraken, though his time there lasted just one season before he signed a two-year contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Following a one-year agreement with the Jets in 2024, he was then brought back on a two-year contract with an AAV (average annual value) of $1.9 million.
He has 44 points (10G, 34A) in in 323 career NHL games.
