Former Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner, now with the Vegas Golden Knights, loved what he saw from teammate Pavel Dorofeyev, who has been filling the net.

The Vegas Golden Knights are now 3-0-2 on the new year after their exciting win over the Boston Bruins at T-Mobile Arena in Vegas, and once again it was Pavel Dorofeyev who led the way.
He scored his 6th goal of the year as part of the 6-5 win, putting him into a tie for the most goals scored so far.
Teammate Mitch Marner, who was acquired in a major sign and trade deal with the Maple Leafs during the summer, singled out Dorofeyev by saying that even though he's played with some great goal scorers in his career, the Russian forward may be one of the best.
«He's one of the best goal scorers I've seen and I've played some special ones.» - Mitch Marner on Pavel Dorofeyev.
Last year, Dorofeyev had 52 points (35G, 17A), a new career-best. But now, it looks like he's already trying to top that mark thanks to his red-hot start to this season.

Mitch Marner Already Has Six Assists With the Vegas Golden Knights

Marner is in his 1st year with the Golden Knights after he was acquired in the aforementioned major sign and trade deal with the Maple Leafs.
He already has 6 helpers on the year, but is still awaiting his 1st goal in a Golden Knights sweater.
He reached a new career best 102 points (27G, 72A) in what was his last year with the Maple Leafs, and is on pace right now for 98 assists with his new team.
Marner needed a change of scenery and so far he's made the most of it with Vegas.
