The Abbotsford Canucks, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, have reportedly still not gotten any word about their championship rings for their Calder Cup win nearly six months ago.

It was nearly six full months ago that the Abbotsford Canucks, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, won the Calder Cup for the first time in their history.
They beat the Charlotte Checkers, the affiliate of the Florida Panthers, in six games to take home their first title.
But the only problem is that the players still have not received their championship rings.
Per Donnie & Dhali's Rick Dhaliwal, who made a guest appearance on Halford & Brough in the Morning on Sportsnet 650 and reported that the AHL players have yet to receive their commemorative rings.
Also, not sure why, it's almost Christmas, and the Abbotsford players still have not received their Championship rings from winning the Calder Cup last year. You would think that would have been done by now. What the hell is going on there? Get those guys their rings. They deserve it for winning the Calder Cup. - Rick Dhaliwal

Further reporting from journalist Ben Lypka of Abbotsford The News, said that his publication had reached out to club management but that communication stopped nearly two weeks ago about the issue.
The News initially reached out to Abbotsford Canucks management for information about potential championship rings on Nov. 26, with team management stating they'd need to have an internal discussion before answering. On Dec. 5, they said a reply would be given in one week's time, but communication stopped after that last message. - Ben Lypka

Francesco Aquilini Was Ranked Among The NHL's Worst Ownership

Per a recent ranking from The Athletic, Francesco Acquilini was ranked the second to worst owner in the NHL, ahead of only Terry Pegula of The Buffalo Sabres.
Acquilini not only owns the Canucks, but the Abbotsford Canucks as well as Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver.
The Canucks appear to be on the verge of a major rebuild after the trade of captain Quinn Hughes to the Minnesota Wild.
