Ryan Reaves shares his thoughts on the Maple Leafs new head coach Craig Berube
The Toronto Maple Leafs' enforcer Ryan Reaves shared his thoughts on the new Toronto Maple Leafs head coach, Craig Berube.
As of now, the Leafs' biggest decision of the offseason has been replacing Sheldon Keefe with Craig Berube as their head coach. Management hopes to see Berube take the team where Sheldon Keefe couldn't.
Berube, with his vast NHL experience, could give players the necessary tools to succeed in the playoffs. One of the players who will certainly benefit a lot from that experience will be Ryan Reaves.
Berube was an enforcer in the NHL and could bring valuable insights to Reaves as he enters his 15th season in the league.
The Leafs player recently made a revelation about his new coach. He talked about his first meeting with him, what he will bring to the organization, and how his experience will help the Leafs reach the next level:
"I got to sit with him briefly after the season once he was hired. I think he's just gonna bring a new attitude."
"A new swagger that obviously the team has been missing. I'm excited to play for him."
"He was really liked in St. Louis. I never got to play for him there; I missed him by a year and a half, but I talked to guys about him, and everybody kind of says the same thing, they would go through a wall for the guy."
"I think that's an important aspect for a team and coach, so yeah, I think it's gonna be a fun year with him."
Do you think the Maple Leafs' new head coach, Craig Berube, will be better at coaching Ryan Reaves than Sheldon Keefe was?
