During Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals analyst Paul Bissonnette was in the Edmonton Oilers crowd and almost severely injured a fan while celebrating.

The Edmonton Oilers found themselves in a must win Game 4 to keep their Stanley Cup hopes alive. To help with the vibes former Oilers defenseman Ryan Whitney and his co-host on Spittin Chiclets Paul Bissonnette were in attendance. The Edmonton Oilers social team even did a pump-up video including highlights of Ryan Whitney.

JUMBOTRON BOYS

The camera then pans to Ryan Whitney and Paul Bissonette in the crowd celebrating. Once seeing himself on camera Paul Bissonnette goes wild putting two fans in a chokehold. The one fan looks like he struggles to get free as they all are on the jumbotron.

The fan would come away mostly unharmed from this incident although he did end up losing and potentially breaking his glasses which fell off during the celebration.

«My glasses came off» Biz destroyed my guys glasses

The video went viral on social media to the point where Paul Bissonnette's boss at Barstool Dave Portnoy responded. He worried that the fan would sue the company over the attack.

Am I gonna get sued by the guy Biz beat up in Edmonton?

As of now, it seems there will be no legal actions taken by the fan. In the end, him and his buddy looked excited to have been part of the moment. Maybe Paul Bissonnette can pay for a new pair of glasses to make up for everything.
