Tonight, a new report has provided the latest details on Morgan Rielly's trade saga that has reportedly taken a major step forward in the last several days.
As the offseason gets underway for the Toronto Maple Leafs new GM John Chayka is looking to put his stamp on the team.
Many around the league believe that stamp will come by re-shaping his defense and trading veteran blueliner Morgan Rielly.
While Chayka would love to move Rielly and begin a youth movement on defense he will have to work with Morgan Rielly who has a no trade clause.

According to sources close to the situation, Rielly is reportedly looking to make a move out West with San Jose, Seattle, Anaheim, Edmonton, and Vancouver headlining his list.
There's been lots of speculation brewing lately that Rielly recently submitted a list of five teams he'd be open to being traded to. The list is rumored to be the Seattle Kraken, Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers, Anaheim Ducks, and San Jose Sharks.
This list gives the Maple Leafs a good mix of contending and rebuilding teams to work with depending on what type of return they are hoping to get for Rielly.
As the offseason commences, all eyes will be on Chayka and President of Hockey Ops Mats Sundin to see what kind of return they can get for Rielly.
