A new report tonight has indicated the Toronto Maple Leafs are shopping veteran forward Dakota Joshua this offseason.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have undergone major changes at every level of the organization this offseason.
Hiring new GM John Chayka has entirely shifted the Maple Leafs vision for the future and which players hold the most value has now changed.
In recent weeks, Chayka has started making changes bringing in veterans Brandon Duhaime, Jack Roslovic, and Zack MacEwen.
As a result of these moves, veteran forward Dakota Joshua who was just brought in last offseason is now likely on the way out.

According to NHL insider David Pagnotta, the Maple Leafs now have too many NHL quality forwards and Joshua's name has been mentioned as a likely trade candidate.
David Pagnotta: Re Maple Leafs: You've got 14 forwards now, so somebody's gotta go, I don't know who it's gonna be; there was some talk of Dakota Joshua's name kind of out there in the last couple of days.
Joshua, 30, finished with 18 points in 55 games during his first season with the Toronto Maple Leafs after being traded for by former GM Brad Treliving.
As of now, Joshua's place in the Maple Leafs lineup remains safe but if Toronto decides to make a move to clear up space his name makes the most sense.
A trade involving Joshua will likely have to wait until after a Morgan Rielly deal is completed but it seems unlikely that Joshua is in the lineup on opening night.
As more information is provided on the Maple Leafs plans and Dakota Joshua's future in Toronto we will pass that news along to you.
