Tonight, reports are confirming that the Anaheim Ducks are facing another offer sheet as defenseman Pavel Mintyukov has signed with a new team.
Earlier this week the Anaheim Ducks were shocked as the Philadelphia Flyers signed center Leo Carlsson to a massive 18 million dollar offer sheet.
In the wake of this move, reports continued to come in stating that the Ducks could fall victim to a second offer sheet involving defenseman Pavel Mintyukov.
Now, that fear has become a reality as Mintyukov has reportedly been given an offer sheet from a new team.

According to NHL insider Frank Sereavalli, the Ducks have been notified that an offer sheet is pending involving Mintyukov.
Sources say the Ducks have been notified that an offer sheet is pending with defenseman Pavel Mintyukov.
However, Seravalli has also revealed that Mintyukov would prefer to stay with the Ducks and instead of accepting the offer sheet could work out a similar deal with Anaheim.
Sounds like the looming offer sheet will ultimately produce a deal in Anaheim as Mintyukov's preference is to be a Duck.
Now, reports have confirmed that the Ducks and Mintyukov have agreed to a long-term extension with will keep him in Anaheim for five seasons.
With this deal, the Ducks at least secure the services of Mintyukov and avoid having two young stars desert them but this now makes it much more difficult to match Carlsson.
Now, the Ducks will have to figure out how to clear salary cap space for Carlsson or let him walk and take the four first round picks in compensation.
