Bobby McMann has been a solid player for the Maple Leafs, but with the trade deadline looming, four teams have been named as fits for the talented winger.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have been a legitimate Stanley Cup contender for a number of years now, but in 2025/26, they don't look like the same threatening team, and as of right now, they sit on the outside looking in at the Stanley Cup Playoffs race in the Eastern Conference.
As a result, heading into the 2026 NHL trade deadline, there has been plenty of speculation around the organization, especially a seemingly expendable player like Bobby McMann.
According to recent reports, the Leafs are taking calls on McMann, with Elliotte Friedman even revealing that the team are asking for a first-round pick in return for the 29-year old.
Four contenders named as candidates to land McMann
This season, McMann has posted 19 goals and 32 points in 56 games, and while he's not quite a star, with this type of production, he could be very valuable to a legitimate Stanley Cup threat.
Now, reporter Nick Kypreos has dived into the market for the Maple Leafs winger, naming the Colorado Avalanche, Anaheim Ducks, Florida Panthers and the rival Ottawa Senators as teams that could be good fits for McMann.
On paper, it's a great fit as McMann isn't going to cost a major haul, and given that he's on a relatively cheap contract, he would be a great pickup for any of these teams.
Ultimately, it makes the most sense for Toronto to be selling on players like McMann, and unless they can get red-hot heading into the trade deadline, don't be shocked to see one of these players land the talented winger.
