Camera catches William Nylander making obscene gesture in Maple Leafs' press box

During the Toronto Maple Leafs' loss to the Colorado Avalanche today, cameras caught injured Leafs forward William Nylander making an obscene gesture in their direction.
The Toronto Maple Leafs lost once again, this time to the Colorado Avalanche at home. Their 4-1 loss to the Avalanche was their fourth straight loss, and they were once again without forward William Nylander.
Nylander, who isn't available because of an injury, was in the press box with several of his fellow injured teammates, including defenseman Chris Tanev.
He saw cameras panning to him, and he decided to flip the bird in their direction:
The Maple Leafs are now in seventh place in the Atlantic division standings, ahead of only the Ottawa Senators.
William Nylander Missed Another Game For The Maple Leafs With Injury
Nylander hasn't been able to play for the Maple Leafs since he got hurt on January 16, but they are allegedly targeting in the middle of the upcoming week for a potential return.
Nylander has 48 points (17G, 31A) in the 37 games that he's played in so far this year.
He's in the middle of a massive contract extension that he agreed to in late 2023 that he signed with the Leafs, deciding to forgo a chance at unrestricted free agency.
Unfortunately for Nylander, he wasn't able to play in Toronto's rematch with ex-Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner, who made his return to Scotiabank Arena on Friday night with the Vegas Golden Knights.
The Leafs need Nylander healthy and contributing on the ice, as they're now in real danger of missing the playoffs.
