Tonight, Toronto Maple Leafs captain shared a special moment to remember with a fan on fan appreciation night that has people talking.
The Toronto Maple Leafs season has been an absolute disaster most recently leading to the firing of GM Brad Treliving.
Despite the losing ways of the 2025-26 Maple Leafs, fans continue to show up and give their support to the team.
With the Maple Leafs hosting their final home game, the players celebrated the fans on a night to give back to those that allow them to play a game for a living.
During the game, a fan took part in a shooting contest on the ice with free season tickets on the line and he nailed the shot.

Not only was the fan given the season tickets, Maple Leafs captain Auston Matthews came out on to the ice to present him with the massive prize.
Auston Matthews just made a surprise appearance at the Leafs game to award a fan season tickets for next year. The fan had made a shot from the far blue line into the opposite net to win the tickets during 2nd intermission.
According to fans, Matthews is still on crutches as he continues his recovery from a season ending injury.
Unfortunately, on the ice things did not go as well for the Maple Leafs as they took on the Dallas Stars and lost 6-5.
Hopefully, Matthews and the Maple Leafs will have a productive offseason and come back for the 2026-27 season ready to give their new season ticket holder something to cheer for.
