In a new interview, Maple Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly opened up about tonight possibly being his final home game in Toronto amid trade rumors.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have had a disappointing season all around falling short of the playoffs for the first time since 2016.
With the underwhelming season, change is expected at all levels of the organization which started with the firing of GM Brad Treliving.
Since then, reports have indicated that the Maple Leafs are considering moving on from veteran defenseman Morgan Rielly this summer.
With these rumors flying and the Maple Leafs playing their last home game of the season, Rielly reflected on his time as a Maple Leaf and what the future holds.

Rielly was first asked if he’s thought about tonight being his final home game playing for the Maple Leafs.
It’s crossed my mind before, all athletes have that at some point they think about that and tonight’s no different.
While trying to approach this game just like any other, Rielly wants to put his best effort in to bring a win to the Toronto crowd against the Dallas Stars.
Trying to push through and put your best foot forward. Continue to compete and play hard to try to win games and that’s no different for us tonight.
While Rielly’s future in Toronto remains unclear no one can question his love and devotion to both the franchise and the city over the last 13 seasons.
As the offseason commences, all eyes will be on the Maple Leafs new General Manager to see if they move on from or build around Rielly and this current Leafs core.
