The San Jose Sharks have been forced to implement new security measures thanks to out of control behaviour by fans hoping to interact with the players.

The San Jose Sharks are one of the most exciting young, up and coming teams in the NHL thanks in large part to the contributions of Macklin Celebrini, the phenomenal first overall pick from the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.
The Sharks also have forward Will Smith, who was taken with the fourth overall pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.
Right now, both players have the Sharks on the cusp of making the playoffs for the first time since 2019 when franchise icons like Joe Thornton and Joe Pavelski patrolled the ice.
But thanks to some out of control fan behaviour trying to interact with the players in their parking lot, the Sharks have been forced to implement new security measures.
-Autographs are not guaranteed.

-No aggressive behavior: Do not crowd players, block walkways/doors, pursue players or staff, or loiter in player/staff parking areas.

-Be respectful: One item per person and allow space for families and kids.

-Staff direction applies: If asked to relocate or limit autograph interactions, guests must comply.

- Autograph interactions may be limited to designated areas/times as directed by staff/security.

-Failure to do so may result in removal and/or a ban. - San Jose Sharks
Fans help bring the noise at games and their support is welcomed, but there are limitations and lines that should not be crossed, and it looks like some fans haven't learned that yet.

Macklin Celebrini And Will Smith Have Taken San Jose By Storm

Both Celebrini and Smith have had no problem making themselves known in San Jose thanks to how great they've been for the rebuilding Sharks.
So far this year, Celebrini, who also was named to Team Canada for the Olympics, has 96 points (35G, 61A).
Meanwhile, Smith has 45 points (19G, 26A) in 55 games played.
