Boston Bruins forward Morgan Geekie is not backing down, and head coach Marco Sturm has to love the fire his veteran is showing.

Social media is a ruthless locker room for professional hockey players. Keyboard warriors love to panic the second a team falls behind.

During Saturday's matchup against the Detroit Red Wings, the Bruins trailed heading into the final frame.

One outspoken fan called the game early. He confidently stated Boston had no chance of scoring two goals in the third period.

The user specifically called Geekie a ghost out there. He also blamed starting goaltender Jeremy Swayman for allowing another long-range shot.

The Bruins rallied aggressively and secured a massive 4-2 road win over Detroit.

Geekie wasted no time pulling up the receipts after the final horn. He quote-tweeted the fan with a brutal response:

"What else does your crystal ball say Chris?"

The forward has earned the right to talk trash. He is putting together an incredibly impressive offensive output this season.
