Top ESPN Analyst Believes Evgeni Malkin is Bound to Be Traded to One Specific Team in the Coming Months

One ESPN NHL analyst believes that the Pittsburgh Penguins could soon be on the verge of trading longtime franchise mainstay Evgeni Malkin to an Eastern Conference contender.
Just about the biggest storyline surrounding the Pittsburgh Penguins this year is the future of longtime franchise mainstay and captain Sidney Crosby, who still has 2 years left on his contract but has been included in multiple trade rumours.
But another longtime Penguin who will also have his sweater number retired whenever his career ends is Evgeni Malkin, whom many believe has begun his final year in the NHL.
Malkin hasn't been included as many trade rumours, but there is one that recently popped up.
After the Florida Panthers lost captain Aleksander Barkov for the entire year because of a torn ACL and MCL, ESPN analyst Greg Wyshynski said he thinks that because Malkin already owns a home in Miami, which is not far from where the Panthers play, a deal could materialize between the Penguins and Panthers.

Malkin is in the last year of his contract, and because the Penguins are not expected to seriously challenge for a playoff spot, the chance to potentially end his career playing on a Cup contending Panthers team could prove intriguing for him.
The Panthers Have Lost Aleksander Barkov to a Leg Injury
It was a concerning scene during a recent practice for the Panthers, as Barkov went down and was unable to place any weight on his leg and needed help from his teammates getting off the ice.
He then underwent surgery and has been confirmed to be expected to miss the next several months, likely the entire year of what will be Florida's 2nd straight Stanley Cup defense.
