Recently, the Penguins acquired Egor Zamula from the Philadelphia Flyers, but just days later, he's been terminated after failing to report to the AHL.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have made several trades as of late, acquiring two young, underperforming players from division rivals, as they landed both Yegor Chinakhov and Egor Zamula.
The former is considered to be a potential star of the future in the National Hockey League, but the latter doesn't have quite as high a ceiling, with the team hoping he would report to the American Hockey League after the deal.

Penguins to terminate Zamula after shock contract breach

That clear breach of his contract came as a shock to many in Pittsburgh, and now, after he decided to no-show his move to the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, the team are moving to place him on waivers for the purpose of contract termination.
Clearly, Zamula has a much higher opinion of himself than the Penguins, as he refused to report to the AHL despite posting just 1 assist across 13 games for the Flyers this season while playing in 3 games already for their AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Now, he'll be available for any team in the league to pick up for free, but given these antics and the lack of production at the NHL level, it's unclear just how much interest there will be.
Ultimately though, we know that teams prioritize talent over almost anything, and after posting 36 points between the 23-24 season and last year, if a team believes he's worth it, don't be shocked to see him picked up as a free agent.
