Matvei Michkov expected to join the Philadelphia Flyers
Philadelphia Flyers' first round pick in the 2023 NHL draft is expected to join the Flyers going into next season.
Michkov, selected seventh overall in 2023 was one of the most sought out prospects in his class, however his contract in the KHL was a concern for many hence why he dropped many spots on the board. Teams like the Montreal Canadiens and the Columbus Blue Jackets opted to pass on him due to the high risk.
In a new developpement, it seems like he's leaving his contract in SKA to pursue his dream of making the NHL and playing.
