Flyers' Yegor Zamula among three players placed on waivers today
Flyers defenseman Yegor Zamula was one of three players to hit the National Hockey League waiver wire today, and he now has 24 hours to clear or otherwise be sent to the American Hockey League.

He was put on waivers by the Flyers today, and now has 24 hours to be claimed by one of the 31 other clubs, or otherwise not be claimed and then subsequently sent down to the American Hockey League affiliate Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
So far this year, he has an assist in 13 games played.
Yegor Zamula Was Called Out By Flyers Head Coach Rick Tocchet In The Preseason
After the Flyers' second to last preseason game, Zamula was called out by head coach Rick Tocchet specifically, who felt his performance just wasn't good enough.
Yeah, he's got to pick it up, definitely.
Never drafted into the NHL, Zamula has been playing within the Flyers organization since 2020-21.
Per his scouting report via Sports Forecaster, he needs to add size to become an effective NHL defenseman.
The lanky Russian defenseman has excellent on-ice vision that should only get better as he approaches his prime. He is a smooth skater who is confident with the puck; he put up good offensive numbers in junior hockey. However, he will have to add strength to become an NHL regular, as well as learn from the mistakes that all young defensemen make. - Sports Forecaster
In his NHL career, he has 41 points (8G, 33A) in 168 games, all in a Flyers sweater.
Two other players, Ben Jones out of Minnesota, and Dryden Hunt out of Calgary, have also hit the waiver wire.
