Now, with all of this unfolding, reports have emerged that rival teams are potentially putting together
trade packages that would land the star goalie where they could hand him a record-breaking deal. One of those teams is
the Los Angeles Kings, who are reportedly pushing hard to land the Russian star out of New York to fix their goaltending issues, and if the trade is right, it would allow them to top the 8-year, $88 million deal that was offered by the Rangers.
