Dan Milstein, who is the player agent for Montreal Canadiens prospect Alexander Zharovsky, is pushing back on a report that his client could come to the NHL earlier than expected.

The Montreal Canadiens already have one of the most exciting young players in the NHL today in Ivan Demidov, who already made his debut last year and impressed by scoring in his opening game.
He'll likely be a candidate for the Calder Trophy, but the Canadiens also have another young prospect that could make his debut before long - but not before his KHL contract expires, per his agent Dan Milstein.
Milstein recently pushed back on a report from the HFTV Sports podcast that prospect Alexander Zharovsky could come to Montreal earlier than 2027 and that team owner Geoff Molson wouldn't be intimidated by his KHL Deal.
EXCLUSIVE: HFTV's secret insider who correctly reported that Demidov was coming last year returns to tell us some interesting news on Russian prospect Alexander Zharovsky.
Milstein responded:
No insider. No truth. Just fake news and self-promotion. Alex Zharovskiy is under KHL contract until 2027.
Zharovsky is under contract in the KHL with Salavat Yulaev Ufa until 2027.

The Canadiens took Alexander Zharovsky in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft

The Canadiens took Zharovsky with the 34th pick in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft.
Per his scouting report from Elite Prospects, his skill is his biggest asset.
With Zharovsky, the selling point is the pure, unadulterated skill that is impossible to teach. He's manipulative, deceptive, and always dangerous with the puck on his stick in the offensive zone.

So far this year with Salavat Yulaev Ufa, he has nine points (4G, 5A) in 11 games.
