Gary Bettman Cheaps Connor McDavid Out Of $1 Million
Connor McDavid recently won the NHL skills competition and $1 million to go with it but weeks after the all-star game McDavid has still yet to be paid.
McDavid Remains Unpaid From The Skills Competition
Earlier this month during the NHL all-star game festivities, Connor McDavid won the skills competition and a $1 million prize to go with it.
However, recent news has surfaced revealing that the NHL has yet to pay McDavid his $1 million.
Connor McDavid says he hasn't received the $ 1 million he won at the skills competition and when he does, he wants to take care of the trainers in Edmonton.
The most unfortunate part about this is that McDavid does not even plan on keeping the money but rather gift it to those around him who help make him the best player in the NHL.
Hopefully, the NHL is able to resolve this soon enough as it is ridiculous that McDavid could go this long without being paid.
