Even though the Edmonton Oilers have yet to make a goaltending move, a new report from analyst Nick Kypreos indicates that they could be interested in Utah Mammoth goalie Connor Ingram.

Coming off their 2nd straight loss in the SCF which yet again involved the use of both Stuart Skinner and Calvin Pickard during their postseason run, most believed that Oilers GM Stan Bowman would do whatever it took to upgrade the position.
It didn't happen, and the duo of Skinner and Pickard remain with the team as the new season gets closer.
But per a new report from analyst Nick Kypreos, the Oilers could have interest in a goaltender from the Central Division. Kypreos said recently that Edmonton could have interest in claiming Connor Ingram, who was recently placed on waivers by the Utah Mammoth.
I have heard the Oilers are kicking tires as well, possibly on the thought of Connor Ingram.

Connor Ingram's Next Home May Be the Edmonton Oilers, Per Insider Nick Kypreos

The Oilers once again had to play both Skinner and Pickard during their playoff run, and at times, both goaltenders looked nearly unbeatable; Pickard won multiple games in a row after replacing Skinner in the WCQF, while Skinner then allowed only 2 goals in 3 games during the WCF against the Dallas Stars.
But both goalies faltered when it mattered most, in the SCF against the Panthers in their 2nd straight meeting.
Ingram isn't regarded as one of the best goaltenders in the NHL, but his potential claim on waivers could help to bring some stability to Edmonton's goalie room and, at the very least, some depth.
