Former Hall of Fame Edmonton Oilers defenseman Chris Pronger has called out the entire organization after Connor McDavid's controversial weekend.
There was some controversy over the weekend when, after the Edmonton Oilers were beaten at home by the Tampa Bay Lightning, captain Connor McDavid appeared to call out his team's coaching staff.
McDavid then walked back his comments and said that in no way did he mean to sound like he was criticizing coach Kris Knoblauch, who has been behind the bench in each of their last two trips to the Stanley Cup Final.
But now, ex-Oilers defenseman Chris Pronger has taken notice of the situation and believes players just look disinterested and are trying to outscore their defensive and goaltending problems.
Former Oiler Chris Pronger says that, from the outside looking in, the Oilers appear very disjointed defensively at times and even disinterested.
He also said it looks like they are trying to score their way out of their problems.

Does Pronger have a point with his criticism?
Chris Pronger Had One Lone Memorable Year In Edmonton, And Then Broke Oilers' Fans Hearts
Pronger spent exactly one year of his Hall of Fame career in an Oilers sweater, and he came on the cusp of leading them to their first Stanley Cup since 1990.
He was traded from the St. Louis Blues in a package for Eric Brewer not long after the infamous NHL lockout ended.
Even though they were the 8th overall seed in the playoffs, they shocked the first overall Detroit Red Wings in round one and then beat the San Jose Sharks and Mighty Ducks of Anaheim before eventually losing in Game 7 to the Carolina Hurricanes in the Stanley Cup Final.
Pronger then shocked Oilers fans everywhere just days later when he requested a trade, and won a Stanley Cup the year later with the Ducks. For the rest of his career, he was public enemy No. 1 in Edmonton.
