Blackhawks' Ryan Donato Loses His Cool and Embarrasses Himself on the Ice

The Chicago Blackhawks were the second team eliminated from the NHL playoffs race, not long after the early but expected fallout of the
San Jose Sharks.
The St. Louis Blues, on the other hand, have reinvigorated their game in the latter part of the season, not only keeping their
Western Conference Wild Card race hopes alive, but sitting comfortably in its' second spot.
With a real chance to make the postseason, the Blues are undoubtedly expected to fight harder, but one Chicago forward thought one St. Louis defenseman went way too hard.
During their Saturday Night game, Blackhawks forward Ryan Donato had control of the puck, but Blues defenseman
Cam Fowler came from behind and wrapped the flat end of his stick in front of him.
This caused Donato to fall down, giving Fowler control of the puck, and no penalty had been drawn, angering him enough to lose his cool.
In his fit of rage, the 28-year-old forward smashed his stick near his team's bench, falling down on the ice in front of the crowd and embarrassing himself in the process.
Though they are already out of making the playoffs, hopefully Ryan Donato's impulsive explosion was one of one, and not a pattern to see in Chicago's games ahead.
