Per Edmonton Oilers analyst Allan Mitchell, there could be a trade brewing between them and the Toronto Maple Leafs involving forward Bobby McMann, whom he sees as an ideal fit with the team.

It's not going to be very long before the Trade Deadline comes around, and even though there's going to be a trade freeze among all NHL teams starting on February 4, there should be plenty of action between now and then.
Even though much of the noise surrounds names like Artemi Panarin of the New York Rangers, other depth players have been heavily involved in trade rumours in recent weeks.
One such player is Toronto Maple Leafs forward Bobby McMann, whom Edmonton Oilers analyst Allan Mitchell believes would be a perfect fit on the Oilers as they try and make a third straight run to the Stanley Cup Final.
Size and speed on the third line are the primary issues. Goal-scoring ability would be a major asset, especially if the acquisition has had success scoring in a depth role. Bobby McMann of the Maple Leafs has been mentioned as a target recently. His max skating speed is 99th percentile, according to NHL Edge. He has 17 goals already and is on an expiring contract at $1.35 million. That’s a value contract for a fast player who has size and can score. It’s a perfect fit for Edmonton’s needs. - Allan Mitchell

So far this year, McMann has 30 points (17G, 13A). As Mitchell said, he's on an expiring contract with an AAV (average annual value) of $1.35 million.

The Maple Leafs Could Soon Start Selling At The Trade Deadline

Until last night's victory over the lowly Vancouver Canucks, there wasn't much that had gone right recently for the Maple Leafs.
After a 0-4-1 home stand, they sank to the bottom of their division standings, and right now, would miss the playoffs for the first time since 2016 if they were to start today.
Leading up to the March 6 trade deadline, there could be several difficult decisions ahead for GM Brad Treliving.
